3W fabricates custom trucks beds and metal products. The majority of the beds are one of a kind aluminum beds. You can see them on this site and our sister site where we make Type 3 Fire Engines. We are looking for welders with experience working with large sheet aluminum welding.

Our welders need experience with layout, cutting, sheering, bending, and welding aluminum. Some steel and stainless steel TIG welding is required. 3W is a small shop and our employees need to be flexible and willing to complete whatever tasks are needed beyond welding and layout. Welders must have wire experience, hard wire and dual shield flux core. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must have their own hand tools. Must be able to weld all positions.

Beneficial skills: electrical wiring and use of power tools.

Custom designed beds require an ability to fabricate parts of the beds to fit evolving designs as construction progresses. Many design problems are solved by our welders. Clients, mistakes, and new ideas often require changes in the middle of a design.

Starting positions are expected to open in 60 to 150 days. Timing depends on work load and orders received.

Starting positions typically pay $15/hour. Wages are open to negotiation based on experience and ability.
